    Gateway Dental Clinic is seeking a friendly, dependable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our established and growing practice in Lac La Biche, Alberta. We are a busy, locally owned dental clinic with a strong patient base, experienced support staff, and a collaborative team environment. This position is available on a permanent full-time or part-time basis, with flexibility in the number of days worked. What we offer: - Highly competitive compensation - 6% vacation pay added to each paycheque - Annual uniform allowance - Monthly health and wellness allowance - Flexible scheduling - Consistent and established patient flow - Dedicated hygiene operatories - Support from dental assistants and administrative staff - No evenings or weekends - A respectful, team-oriented workplace - Opportunities for continuing education and professional development Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal hygiene care - Perform scaling, root planing, polishing and fluoride treatments - Take diagnostic radiographs - Complete periodontal charting and clinical documentation - Educate patients regarding oral health, periodontal disease and home care - Identify areas requiring dentist assessment or follow-up - Maintain infection prevention and sterilization standards - Work collaboratively with dentists, assistants and administrative staff - Help maintain an efficient, positive and patient-focused schedule Qualifications: - Registered or eligible for registration as a Dental Hygienist in Alberta - Current CPR certification - Strong communication and patient-care skills - Dependable, organized and able to manage appointments efficiently - Comfortable working independently while contributing to a team - New graduates are welcome to apply Schedule: Approximately 24–40 hours per week, depending on the applicant’s preferred schedule and clinic needs. Regular clinic hours are: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Friday: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. No evenings or weekends About Gateway Dental Clinic: Gateway Dental Clinic is a locally owned practice serving Lac La Biche and surrounding communities.
