Cold Lake, ABFull-time · Permanent · Contract · AssociateMon · Tue · Wed · Thu · FriTri-Town Dental in Cold Lake is actively hiring an Associate Dentist to join our growing, owner-operated dental clinic. This is a strong opportunity for a dentist who wants a busy schedule, autonomy, mentorship/support where needed, modern dentistry, and real rural patient demand — without corporate pressure. Tri-Town Dental is under new ownership with Dr. Jared Anderson. We are actively upgrading, organizing, and growing the clinic with a clear focus on better systems, stronger clinical flow, patient experience, and long-term team culture. WHAT WE OFFER • 45% of production • Flexible schedule — full-time preferred, but part-time/casual may be considered • High-demand rural market with full-book potential • Owner-operated clinic — not corporate / not DSO • Mentorship available for newer dentists • Autonomy available for experienced dentists • Relocation/retention support up to $3,000 available — terms apply • Clinic visit / shadow day available for serious candidates • Strong support from the owner, Practice Manager, front desk, hygiene, and clinical team • Canada Student Loan Forgiveness may apply for eligible candidates WHY TRI-TOWN DENTAL Tri-Town Dental is a busy rural clinic with real patient demand. This is not a “sit around and wait for patients” opportunity. A good clinician can build momentum quickly here. We are working hard to create a clinic where the dentist can focus on dentistry: better scheduling discipline, clear handoffs, stocked operatories, strong team support, and smoother clinical systems. This role is ideal for someone who wants high earning potential, broad clinical exposure, and a clinic environment where they can be genuinely valued. CLINICAL OPPORTUNITIES Depending on your experience, interests, and scope, there is opportunity for: • General restorative dentistry • Exams and treatment planning • Emergencies and same-day care • Oral surgery • Endodontics • Implants, grafting, and PRF capability • Clear aligners • Crown/bridge and removable prosth • Digital workflows • CBCT imaging • Intraoral scanning • Laser dentistry • Pediatric and family dentistry You do not need to do everything. We are looking for the right clinical and cultural fit. MENTORSHIP + AUTONOMY Newer dentists may be considered if coachable, clinically responsible, and committed to quality care. Experienced dentists are strongly encouraged to apply. Mentorship can be tailored to your needs: case planning, treatment sequencing, surgery/endo exposure, patient communication, efficiency, documentation, or simply light-touch support while you work independently. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR • DDS/DMD or equivalent • Licensed or eligible to practise dentistry in Alberta • Must hold CDSA registration and a valid Alberta practice permit before providing dental services • Professional, reliable, patient-first, and team-oriented • Strong communication and documentation habits • Comfortable in a busy clinic with systems and accountability • Interested in quality dentistry and efficient clinical flow • GPs and specialists welcome where aligned with CDSA permit/scope WHY COLD LAKE Cold Lake offers short commutes, lake-country lifestyle, trails, boating, fishing, beaches, year-round outdoor recreation, and strong community demand for care. If you want volume, impact, outdoor lifestyle, and room to grow clinically, rural dentistry can be a major advantage. Eligible dentists working in qualifying rural/remote communities may also qualify for Canada Student Loan Forgiveness, subject to Government of Canada / NSLSC requirements.
